Loved our stay! Great cosy home with everything you could need. The town was lovely and loved seeing the train coming in. Easy to find from the directions and a beautiful drive in to the town.

Rustic Brilliance

We had a great weekend in cold but beautiful Walhalla staying at the Coach House. A terrific setting with a beautiful old house. The great fireplace kept us warm and we enjoyed the sitting areas immensely. Getting everything set up on arrival in the dark was a challenge but we couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more. Thanks for the hospitality!

Anna was helpful and the place was amazing. Would definately come back!

Beautiful and cozy home. Everything you need is provided. Very clean and comfortable. Loved our time there

Colleen – July 2016

We had a wonderful time at the Coach House. The fire kept us warm in the winter. The village of Walhalla was a delight to wander through with all the history. It was fun to step back in time and enjoy being away from so many modern conveniences, but still very comfortable. What a peaceful place to stay with only the sound of the birds and the occasional train whistle. I would recommend staying here. Anna was helpful with my requests and easy to contact.

An excellent place every bit as good as the pictures. Nice and cool in very hot weather. Great facilities. Place was all set up for us when we got there. Anna was easy to contact. Family enjoyed sitting around just reading and playing games at night or looking out at the walls of green (mountains) House had all mod cons and great kitchen. During the day explored the rivers, gold mine, bush etc. Walhalla is easily the most beautiful town in Victoria. It is only a few minutes walk into town. Make sure before coming to do your shopping in towns before Walhalla, ie Moe or Morwell as little to buy there. Also need petrol from those towns. Thanks Anna .

Very Cosy, Amazing town
The house is warm and gorgeous! Comfy beds, very good kitchen and hot water! The bookshelf especially on the top floor is super cool, and we loved how relaxing the house was! Its very isolated (which is perfect), and a bit hard to find after dark 🙂 The town is very pretty! Very scenic and very relaxing. Would 100% go again

Hello Anna
We absolutely love the Coach House and the friends we took with us couldn’t get over how lovely and relaxing their stay was in a house presenting everything one would need amidst so much character and space. Our couple of days in Walhalla was great and we love the coach House.
We consider ourselves fortunate to be able to avail of it.
Again, many thanks, Stan & Jan

Hi Anna, just letting you know Susan and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your Coach House these past three nights. It is a simply wonderful, comfortable, beautifully appointed house and we so very much enjoyed our evenings sitting near the fire upstairs in that lovely big room, with no temptation to turn on a TV, disappear into the internet or otherwise disengage. Susan had her quilting, I had my book, we had conversation and just simply “relaxed”.

We fell in love with Walhalla, it is a charming, fascinating place. We met and had lengthy chats with several fascinating and friendly locals, and found so much pleasure in simply being there, strolling around and immersing in the unique atmosphere. Also, we managed to go on the train, into the mine, explore the cemetery and even struggle up to the Cricket Oval (not bad for our combined age of 130 years!). So, thanks again for a memorable few days and some really happy memories and recollections.

Our very best wishes, Peter and Susan

We met Tanya  on arrival and had a nice chat with her, she was very helpful to us in explaining some things, and we’d say you have a really good person there looking after the place for you….
