“Our group of 7 had a great stay at the Walhalla Coach House. There was plenty of space for everyone and the surrounds were beautiful. It’s short stroll to the pub, the railway and the centre of town and a great starting point for lots of lovely walks in the area. The Coach House had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing weekend.”
Walhalla is a town unlike any other I have experienced – so quaint! The Coach House had a real old world charm about it and was very comfortable, but best you go in with your eyes wide open: don’t expect to be able to connect/charge most devices to power as it’s on 12v solar. Plenty of space for two families though.
“Great house for kids and families. Great communication. Highly recommended.”
The property had old country charm, it was really lovely. The fireplace was amazing and the beds were very comfortable.
“Lovely stay in the valley. The view, the peace and quiet, the charming house. The host was responsive and a pleasure to deal with”.
Thank you, we were very grateful for the opportunity to stay in the cottage and would love to come back… p.s your cleaner was very helpful n greeted us wonderfully.
A very cosy and relaxing place to spend some time.
A trip to Walhalla is incomplete without a stay in Coach House.
The interiors and the location of the house make one more receptive to experience the divinity of the wilderness.
We still cherish the time spent in coach house and will surely visit this winter and try to comprehend the hidden stories in each of the minute items/objects collected by Anna.
The coach house indeed talks with right people. Thanks to Anna for giving us an opportunity to have a bonding with the Coach House
What a fabulous Olde Fashioned Holiday we had for a week in Jan 2018, we all loved it. We took both cottages for our family, with granddaughters aged 3-13 years.
Both are unique, olde fashioned & quaint, both had everything we needed & more. Exceptionally clean & very warm & friendly feel. Beautiful woolen rugs covered the floor boards. The older girls enjoyed the pool table and the many games.
Great bush walks in Walhalla to explore especially the 6km walk along the old Tramway Track to Thomson River & the old Railway Station with the tourist train, what a winner. The river to swim in & the train to ride back to Walhalla in, the Gorge was amazing.
The township of Walhalla is small but interesting, the old mine, the old Post-Office/Museum, the bandstand, The Wally Pub, cafes & the old Cemetery, so much to see & do.
Thank you Anna for making our booking so easy, answering questions and making our stay a sheer delight.”
